We work beneath the surface.

No performance required.

HAI is a private advisory studio for leaders navigating human complexity.

When something feels off; engagement shifts, tension lingers, decisions stall, or culture starts performing instead of moving, we help you see what's really happening.

Who is behind it

Simay Simon is the founder of HAI and the person in the room reading what no one is saying.

Her background spans DEIB strategy, employee experience, and organizational design — years spent inside the systems that shape how people show up at work, how teams make decisions under pressure, and how culture actually operates beneath the surface.

Over that time, she watched the same pattern repeat: leadership teams investing in engagement surveys, culture initiatives, and offsite retreats that looked right on paper but never reached the real tension in the room. The data always told you something was off. It rarely told you where it lived or who was carrying it.

HAI was built to close that gap. Not with more tools or more data, but with the kind of human intelligence that only comes from being present — observing how people behave under pressure together, reading the dynamics that no algorithm can reach, and giving leaders the clarity to act on what they've been sensing but couldn't name.

She works with leadership teams in-person and virtually.

  • lead your people to connect

  • because that is human.

  • humans are not data sets

  • in a room that is safe

What we believe

What happens when people are under pressure together is the most honest data you will ever get about your organization. We create the conditions for that data to surface.

The room doesn’t lie

We don't ask people to perform growth or pretend to be something they're not. We meet teams exactly where they are — and work from there.

Human as is

Engagement data tells you there's a problem. It cannot tell you where the problem lives, who is carrying it, or what it will take to move it. We can.

Surveys miss the point

Intelligence, not advice

We don't hand you a slide deck of recommendations. We give you specific, named observations and let you decide what to do with them. The clarity is the work.

"The leader who knows something is wrong but can't name it precisely enough to act on it — that's who we built HAI for."
